Beyond Following Instructions
Following step-by-step building and coding instructions helps learners acquire useful foundational skills. However, understanding the concepts behind what they build and knowing how to apply them to solve problems is equally important.
Our learners go beyond assembling predetermined models. Through open-ended robotics missions, they apply interdisciplinary STEM concepts in mathematics, physics, engineering and coding to design mechanisms, programme their robots and develop solutions of their own.
There is no single correct approach, giving learners the freedom to explore ideas and express their creativity. But creativity alone is not enough — the challenge is to turn those ideas into practical, functional solutions that work.
Programme Structure
Day 1 – Coding Fundamentals (2 Hours)
Learn robotics programming, motor control, movement accuracy and mathematical applications, including fractions and decimals.
Day 2 – Engineering Building Techniques (2 Hours)
Explore gears, mechanical connections and building techniques to create functional robotic mechanisms.
Days 1 and 2: Separate sessions for ages 7–8 and 9+, with age-appropriate learning activities.
Day 3 – Apply & Create (2 Hours)
Apply coding and building skills to open-ended robotics missions inspired by established robotics competitions, including FIRST LEGO League (FLL).
Day 4 – Test & Refine (2 Hours)
Test and improve mechanical designs and coding solutions through experimentation and problem-solving.
Days 3 and 4: Mixed-age sessions, with missions selected according to each learner's ability.

Choosing the Right Learning Experience
Our holiday programme involves applying basic mathematical concepts, numerical reasoning and estimation to robotics challenges. Learners are encouraged to stay engaged, follow guidance and work through challenges with increasing independence.
As children learn at different paces, those who benefit from more individual guidance or additional time to understand and apply concepts may find our regular weekly lessons more suitable.
Parents are welcome to discuss their child's learning needs with us before enrolment.
