Safe Management Measures

As classes resumed following the start of Phase Two, Inventive Kids has implemented the following precautionary measures to mitigate the risk of Covid-19 transmissions and to safeguard the well-being of our students and staff.

Arrival and Departure of Students at Inventive Kids: • Parents or Guardians are requested to wait outside the centre to drop-off and pick-up their children. This is to reduce human traffic and congregation. We seek your kind understanding. • In the case of all students arriving at the same time, parents must adhere to the safe distancing markers outside the centre to queue up to drop off their children. • To avoid congregation, only one student shall enter the centre at a time. • Parents are to drop off and pick up their children promptly, within a maximum of 5 mins, to avoid students lingering in waiting areas.

Temperature & Visual Health Screening • Temperature taking and visual screening will be implemented for all staff and students before entering our centre. • Anyone with a temperature exceeding 37.6 degrees Celsius will not be allowed entry. • The visual health checks include general signs of feeling unwell, beyond fever, cough, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, cough, and shortness of breath. • Staff, students and visitors with fever or respiratory symptoms, such as those described above will not be permitted entry. • Students with a family member living in the same household who is unwell are also discouraged to attend class.

SafeEntry

• Both SafeEntry QR Code and SafeEntry NRIC will be implemented at the centre.

• SafeEntry check-in and check-out is compulsory for all staff, students and visitors.

• If students do not have a mobile phone, they can bring their Student Pass for SafeEntry NRIC scanning.

• Exception will be made for students who do not yet own a Student Pass or identification. In this

case, the Parent or Guardian of the student shall do the SafeEntry check-in and check-out.

Entry to Centre

• As part of our measures to minimize congregation within the centre, we seek parents’ understanding not to enter the centre especially during the peak hours of drop-off and pick-up.

• If you would like to see our teachers or other for other purposes, do visit during non-peak hours or you can make an appointment with us.

• Payment of school fees via Nets payment can be done during non-peak hours. Otherwise, we encourage you to make contactless payment eg via PayNow or internet bank transfer.

Mask Wearing • Students, visitors, and staff are required to wear masks at all times. • Children 12 years old and below, who may have difficulty wearing and keeping face masks on for a prolonged period of time can opt for face shields instead.

Safe Distancing • Students will be required to sanitize their hands before entering our centre • We have put up clear safe distancing markers within the centre so that staff and students are constantly reminded to keep the safe distance of 1m apart. • Our class size remains small and will be kept within the limits set by current regulations. • A minimum of 30 mins will be scheduled between classes using the same classroom. This is to allow adequate time to disinfect classroom surfaces, and to ensure strict separation of students from different classes. This may slightly affect the current class schedule and we will inform you if it impacts your child directly.

Sanitization Schedule & Protocol: • The classrooms will be sanitized between each class • Cleaning Protocol

i. Classroom and learning tools will be disinfected using UV Sanitizer Lamp

ii. All surfaces in the classrooms will be wiped down with disinfectant after UV sanitization iii. All surfaces in other parts of the centre, especially high touch areas, including door handles will be disinfected between classes throughout the day iv. All high-touch surfaces has been coated with an antimicrobial agent for further protection

Evacuation Procedure • In the event whereby a student feels extremely unwell, the class will stop immediately and all the parents of the students in the class will be notified to pick them up. • This is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Thus, it is important that your child stays home if he or she is feeling unwell, so that our centre can remain safe for all to access.
